Dadāti [Redupl. formation as in Lat. do, perf. de -- di, Gr. di/dwmi; cp. Lat. dōs dowry, Gr. dw/s; Ohg. dati; Lith. důti to give] to give, etc. I. Forms. The foll. bases form the Pāli verb -- system: dā, dāy, dadā & di. -- 1.
