Dakkhinamūla.-A monastery, perhaps identical with the Dakkhinavihāra. There Vohārika-Tissa erected a parasol over the Thūpa (Mhv.xxxvi.33). The Mahāvamsa Tīkā (p.662) calls it the Dakkhinamūlavāsa.
