Dīghagāmanī

A Sākiyan prince, son of Dīghāyu and, therefore, cousin of Ummāda-Cittā. Having heard of Cittā, he went to Upatissagāma and took service at the court of Panduvāsudeva.

There Cittā saw him and fell in love with him and he visited her by night. When a child was conceived Citta was given to him in marriage.

This child was Pandukābhaya. Citta and Kālavela were servants of Dīghagāmanī. Mhv.ix.13ff; Dpv.x.8f.
