燃燈佛
The Buddha to whom Śākyamuni Buddha offered five lotuses when the latter was Ju-tung Bodhisattva ( 儒童菩薩 ), and was thereupon predicted as a coming Buddha. He is called the 24th predecessor of Śākyamuni. He appears whenever a Buddha preaches the Lotus Sūtra.
