Definition[1]
:
dūraṃgamā-bhūmi (Sanskrit). The seventh of the Bodhisattva Levels (bhūmi), ‘the One which Goes Far’, according to the Daśabhūmika Sūtra. It is so-called because at this level Bodhisattvas engage in the perfection of skilful means (upāya-kauśalya-pāramitā) by which they cause beings to be liberated.
