karma-mudrā (Sanskrit) 1. Action Seal; one of the four meditational seals (mudrā) according to the yoga-tantra. It refers to the process of imaging the Buddhas in transformational meditation practice by way of hand-gestures and so forth, which correlate to their ‘action’ aspect. See anuttara-yoga-tantra.
2. In anuttara-yoga-tantra, a female partner used in sexual yoga.
