Paṭalika (adj.) [fr. paṭala] belonging to a cover or lining, having or forming a cover or lining, as adj. said of sandals (eka˚ with single lining) J ii.277 (v. l. for ekatalika); iii.80, 81 (id.). -- as n. f. paṭalikā a woven cloth, a woollen coverlet (embroidered with flowers), usually combd with paṭikā Vin i.192; ii.162; Di.7 (=ghana -- puppho uṇṇāmayo attharako.
