Paṭibhāti [paṭi+bhā] to appear, to be evident, to come into one's mind, to occur to one, to be clear (cp. Vin. Texts ii.30) S i.155 (˚tu taŋ dhammikathā); v.153 (T. reads patibbāti); Sn 450 (p. maŋ=mama bhāgo pakāsati Sna 399); Nd1 234=Nd2 386 (also fut. ˚bhāyissati); J v.410; VvA 78=159 (maŋ p. ekaŋ pañhaŋ pucchituŋ "I should like to ask a question").
