BSk. svādhyāyita AvŚ i.287; ii.23] to rehearse, to repeat (aloud or silently), to study J i.435; ii.273; iii.216; iv.64; Miln 10. -- ppr. ˚āyanto DhA iii.347; ger. sajjhāya S i.202, & sajjhāyitvā J iv.477; v.450; KhA 97. -- Caus. sajjhāpeti to cause to learn, to teach J iii.28 (of teacher, with adhīyati, of pupil).
