• there occurs also nom. acc. du. sakthyaú [RV. x, 86, 16 AV. vi, 9, 1] formed fr. a fem. base sakthī́), the thigh, thigh-bone
• the pole or shafts of a cart (du. euphemistically 'the female organ') RV. &c. &c
