Santusita
1. Santusita. Chief of the devas of the Tusita world. (D.i.218; A.iv.243; S.iv.280). It was the name of the Bodhisatta when he was in Tusita (BuA. 45; J.i.48) and also that of his successor (J.i.81). At important festivals, Santusita appears with a yak tail whisk. E.g., Mhv.xxxi.78.
2. Santusita. One of the palaces of Konāgamana Buddha before his renunciation. Bu.xxiv.18.
3. Santusita. A king. See Samphusita.
