Śīkṣā-samuccaya
A large compilation of quotations from Mahāyāna sūtras arranged by Śāntideva (685-763 ce) around a small core of 27 verses to illustrate the practices and ideals of Mahāyāna. This work survives in Sanskrit and provides scholars with important fragments of many Mahāyāna sūtras otherwise not extant in that language.
