Sovannakinkhaniya Thera. An arahant. In the time of Atthadassī Buddha he was an ascetic, and built a thūpa of sand in the name of the Buddha. Because he was too ill to visit the Buddha, he offered it sonnakinkhanika flowers. Ap.ii.388.
