Vajati [Vedic vraj, cp. Ved. vraja (=P. vaja) & vṛjana enclosure=Av. vərəƶə̄na -- , with which cp. Gr. ei)/rgnumi to enclose, ei(rgmo/s, Lat. vergo to turn; Gaelic fraigh hurdle; Ags. wringan=E. wring=Ger. ringen, E. wrinkle =Ger. renken, and many others, see Walde, Lat.
