Vinivaṭṭeti (& ˚vatteti) [vi+nivatteti] 1. to turn over, to repeat J i.25 (ṭṭ), 153 (ṭṭ), 190 (ṭṭ). -- 2. to turn (somebody) away from, to distract Pv i.88 (read ˚vattayi for ˚vattanti); ii.619 (˚vattayi; aor.); J iii.290 (ṭṭ). <-> 3. to roll over, to glide off J iii.344 (ṭṭ); DhA ii.51 (ṭṭ).
