解脫(mukta, parimocana, visaṃyoga, pramukta). Pali: dukkhā-pamucatti). Deliverance, salvation, liberation, especially from suffering, birth, old age and death, etc. The spirit becoming free from afflictions. Awakening to reality. Breaking attachment. The peaceful condition resulting from escaping the suffering and vexation of the world. Nirvāna. Non-attachment to self.
