Vyābādheti (& bya˚) [Caus. of vi+ā+badh or distortion fr. vyāpadeti, with which identical in meaning] to do harm, hurt, injure Vin ii.77/78; S iv.351 sq.; DA i.167. The BSk. is vyābādhayate (e. g. Divy 105).
