為華嚴宗圭峰宗密所立五教中之最上教。宗密以華嚴經為一佛乘究竟之教，其教法不藉方便隱密之法，直指自心即本覺之真性，遠離諸妄想執著，得見自身中如來廣大之智慧，故判之為一乘顯性教。（參閱「五教」1146）[1]p62 (佛光大藏經) 3. 一乘顯性教 [py] yīshèng xiănxìng jiāo [wg] i-sheng hsien-hsing chiao [ko] 일승현성교 ilsŭng hyŏnsŏng kyo [ja] イチジョウケンショウキョウ ichijō kenshō kyō ||| The single vehicle teaching that expresses the nature.
