眾生緣慈悲、法緣慈悲、無緣慈悲。眾生緣慈悲是對一切眾生都視如父母兄妹眷屬，常起與樂拔苦的心，這是凡夫或未斷煩惱的有學人所起的慈悲；法緣慈悲是破除我之相，對眾生隨力隨意拔苦與樂，這是已斷煩惱達於法空的三乘聖人所起的慈悲；無緣慈悲是心無分別，普救一切，不但對一切人類拔苦與樂，擴展至一切有情動物，皆起憐愍愛護的心，這是諸佛所獨有的慈悲。
