修斷 (1) To cultivate (修) goodness, the correct view, etc. and to sever (斷 extinguish, quell, eliminate) harmful habits (煩惱). (2)The crux of the three practices 三學. (bhāvana-ppdadhāna) Also commonly written 脩斷. The fourth of the four correct severances 四正斷. (3) Those afflictions that are severed in the Path of Cultivation 修道.
