（術語）密教次第東南西北，東方為因陀羅方，南方為焰魔羅方，西方為[口*縛]嚕拏方，北方為毗娑門方，又東北為伊舍尼方，東南為護摩方，西南為涅哩底方，西北為[口*縛]瘦方。是皆因護方神而名之。見大日經疏五。又以四大，四顯色，四佛，阿字之四轉等各配於此四方。【參見: 五大】
