（人名）尼犍為苦行外道之通名，譯曰離繫，薩遮是其名，譯言，有，或諦，大有離繫外道之子也。此人歸佛悟大道，為鬱闍延城嚴熾王，說世出世之法，遂與王共詣佛所受記別。慧苑音義下曰：「薩遮，此云有也。」翻梵語九曰：「薩遮者實，亦云諦。」梵Maha%satya-nirgrantha。
