Bloomfield, Maurice; 1855～1928）美國（德國裔）之印度學學者。西元一八八一至一九二六年間，於瓊斯荷琴茲大學（Johns Hopkins）教授梵語與印歐比較語言學。對吠陀文獻學之研究，具有豐碩成果，並發表於世。重要著作有：Hymns of the Atharva Veda, 1897; The Kashmirian（School of the Paippaldas）Atharvaveda, 3 vols., 1901（與 Garbe 合著）；Vedic Concordance, 1906; Atharvaveda and the Gopatha Brāhmana; Rig-veda Repetitions, 2 vols., 1916; Vedic Variants, 1931～1934（與 Edgerton 合著）。
