有頂天 [py] yŏudĭngtiān [wg] yu-ting-t'ien [ko] 유정천 yujŏngch'ŏn [ja] ウチョウテン uchōten ||| (akanistha); The 'Highest Heaven.' (1) Another name for 色究竟天, the fourth and uppermost heaven in the realm of form. (2) Another name for 'no-thought-no-non-thought Heaven, the fourth and uppermost heaven in the formless realm.

梵語 akanistha，巴利語 akanittha。音譯作阿迦尼吒。又稱色究竟天。乃色界四禪天之第九天，為有形世界之最頂峰，故稱有頂。此外，有頂天亦指無色界之第四天，即非想非非想處天，以其為三有（三界）之絕頂，故稱有頂。於現存之梵文法華經中，長行、重頌內皆以梵語 bhavāgra 作為有頂之意，而不用梵語 akanistha 一語。〔法華經卷一序品、大毘婆沙論卷七十四、俱舍論卷二十四、法華義疏卷二（吉藏）〕（參閱「非想非非想處天」3712）
