法樂 (1) Enjoyment of the truth, of enlightenment. The joy induced by the study of the Buddhist teachings. (2) To enjoy detachment, recitation of the sutras, or any other religious practice.
Religious joy, in contrast with the joy of common desire; that of hearing the dharma, worshipping Buddha, laying up merit, making offerings, repeating sūtras, etc.
1.以法味為樂。2.行善積德以自娛。
(一)即法味之樂。聽受佛法之法味,以長養法身之慧命而生喜樂,故稱法樂。又行善積德以自娛,亦稱法樂。唯識論卷十(大三一‧五七下):「自受用(中略),盡未來際,恆自受用廣大法樂。」〔維摩經菩薩品、梁譯攝大乘論釋卷十三〕
(二)指於佛前轉讀講論諸經論、唱誦經文、陀羅尼等,乃使佛菩薩得法樂之意。
(三)俗於法事之後有舞樂,亦稱為法樂。
