Definition[1]

法行  (dharma-carana). (1) Action, practice, according to reality. In the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment (圓覺經) 法行, as religious practice, refers to the direct practice 隨順 of the Buddha's enlightenment, as opposed to methods of gradual advancement. Thus "reality-practice." (2) To depend upon. (3) Making one's own thinking accord with the teaching. (4) A "wheel-turner" (dharmacārin).
