：
無明者，即根本無明惑也。謂聲聞、緣覺未了此惑，沉滯真空，即住方便土；大乘菩薩方能除斷，由餘惑未盡，住實報土。故名無明住地惑。（方便土者，謂修方便道，斷見、思惑，即聲聞、緣覺所居之土也。實報土者，稱實感報故也；謂菩薩斷惑相有未盡者，居此土也。）
