縛斯,梵名 Vasistha,巴利名 Vāsettha。又作婆藪仙。六火天之一,二十八部眾之一。原係印度吠陀時代之仙人。於密教位列胎藏界曼荼羅外金剛部之東方,為裸身仙人,右手執蓮華,左手持數珠,盤右足、抬左膝而坐,三昧耶形為數珠鬘。另有住於虛空藏院之縛斯仙,乃為裸身之苦行仙人,右手作彈指形,左手持杖而立,三昧耶形為仙杖。〔中阿含卷三十八鸚鵡經、大日經疏卷六、卷十六、大日經疏演義鈔卷五十三〕
