又名佛立三昧，意謂修此三昧而得成就的人，能見十方諸佛，立於其前。修的時候，不坐不臥，從早到晚，又由晚到天亮，不是走，就是立，以九十日為一期，專念阿彌陀佛的名號。

pratyutpannasamādhi, the samadhi in which the Buddhas of the ten directions are seen as clearly as the stars at night. Also called 常行道 or 常行三昧 the prolonged samadhi, because of the length of time required, either seven or ninety days. Its sutra is the般舟三昧經.

梵語 pratyutpanna-samādhi。定行之一種。又作常行三昧、般舟定、諸佛現前三昧、佛立三昧。在一特定期間（七日至九十日）內，修行三昧，得見諸佛。據般舟讚載，以九十日為一期，常行無休息，除用食之外，均須經行，不得休息，步步聲聲，念念唯在阿彌陀佛。般舟讚又謂，行此定法，須正身業，口稱佛名，意觀佛體，三業相應，故總稱為三業無間。在我國，以廬山慧遠最早聚眾結社行此定法，其後智顗、善導、慧日、承遠、法照等諸師相繼發揚此一定行，遂普遍盛行於我國與日本。〔般舟三昧經卷上問事品、行品、坐禪三昧經卷下、大智度論卷三十三〕（參閱「念佛三昧」3211）
