About Metta's Guest House

Metta's Guest House, formerly Living Metta, describes the metta experiences and experiments of columnist Mettamorphsis. It follows her Lily Pad Sutra column in which she explored her eight years of lily padding—combining meditation practice with location-independence—which inspired her metta-morphosis.

About the author

Mettamorphsis had a Catholic upbringing and education, but found a home in the Dharma after many years of serious illness. In 2010, she felt called to give up having a fixed abode and live life as a modern-day nomad or, as she prefers to call it, lily padding. She now lives in Liverpool, where she applies all that lily padding taught her to embodying metta meditation in everyday life.
