The cover of Issue 4 of The cover of Issue 4 of "The Legend of Guan Yin", by Suen Wai Kwan. From yesasia.com.
The following three comic pages are an English translation of author Suen Wai Kwan’s retelling of “The Monk with the Flowers”. In the story, a monk requests to learn the truth of the universe from the Buddha, who asks the man to let go. After putting down his flowers as well as separating his palms, the Buddha still requests that the monk let go. But of what?

Suen's artwork was used for Volume 3 of Culturecom's manga series
The Legend of Guan Yin and is used and translated with permission (and read right to left).
