Master and Postgraduate Diploma Programs at the Buddha-Dharma Centre, Hong Kong, Open for Applications

The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong, which is affiliated with the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, is offering both a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies (MA) program (Registration No.: 272503) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies (PGDBS) program (Registration No.: 272561) in 2016.*
The MA and PGDBS are affiliated with the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya, which is internationally renowned for Buddhist Studies. All awards for the courses are conferred by the University of Kelaniya.
The programs aim to train participants in the Buddhadharma from a non-sectarian perspective, offering courses in the history, doctrines, and scriptural languages of the three major Buddhist traditions: Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana.
Our Academic Team
We have an academic team of eminently qualified, internationally renowned scholars of Buddhist Studies. Besides Venerable professor K. L. Dhammajoti (PhD Kelaniya), our course director, the team comprises Prof. Y. Karunadasa (PhD London), Prof. Oliver Abeynayake (PhD Lancaster), and others.
