10-day celebration of Buddhism in Indonesia - hosted every five years by the Buddhist Education Centre (BEC) in Surabaya. The Festival showcases Buddhist history & education, dharma speakers from around the world, pavilions from each tradition, performances, children's activities, exhibits from organizations and temples in the region. Many precious and sacred Buddhist relics were brought from Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Opening Ceremony speaker, Taiwanese Venerable Hai Tao from international Compassion Life Organization, and closing musical performance by Ani Choying Drolma, Buddhist nun and musician from Nepal. Buddhistdoor/ Buddhistdoor Team was honored to be invited to such an esteemed celebration of Buddhism. We made so many new dhamma friends in our global community and welcome them to Hong Kong anytime.
