Each of our individual lifetimes are but a chapter in the efforts of this long-term translation project called 84000 which may take 100 years to complete. It is bold and ambitious and organized to transform the written words of the Tibetan Kangyur and Tengyur texts into English for greater access to the historic teachings.

Executive Director Jing Rui Huang visited Buddhistdoor offices to explain the complexities involved in such a global effort lasting a long time into the future.
