geya: To be sung', the second of the dvādaśāṅga-dharma-pravacana. It originally referred to an uddāna(summary) verse nemonically summarizing the names of the (ten) preceding sūtra-s during the first Council. It has subsequently come to denote a repetition verse summarizing what has been said in the preceding prose.
