Hindrance of liberation. To attain perfect liberation, an arhat must overcome this hindrance besides the kleśāvaraṇa. There are different opinions among the Abhidharma masters: some say this is the samāpatty-āvaraṇa; others say it is the akliṣṭa-ajñāna. --- ubhayabhāga-vimukta.
