Vivaseti [Caus. of vi+vas to shine] lit. to make [it] get light; rattiŋ v. to spend the night (till it gets light) Sn 1142; Nd2 594 (=atināmeti) -- vivasati is Kern's proposed reading for vijahati (rattiŋ) at Th 1, 451. He founds his conjecture on a v. l. vivasate & the C. expln "atināmeti khepeti." Mrs. Rh. D. trsls "waste" (i. e. vijahati).
