The eight assemblies in seven different places, at which the sixty sections of the 華嚴經 Avatamsaka-sūtra are said to have been preached; the same sutra in eighty sections is accredited to the 七處九會. 七處平等相 One of the thirty-two signs on the Budda's body—the perfection of feet, hands, shoulders, and head.
