（術語）細別比丘之威儀作法者也。大部輔注十一曰：「三千威儀，約二百五十戒各有四威儀（行住坐臥），合為一千，循三世轉為三千威儀。」案是不過鑿說，三千者極言其多也。藏中大比丘三千威儀有二，明一千百八十二事。楞嚴經曰：「三千威儀，八萬微細，性業遮業。」六祖壇經曰：「三千威儀，八萬細行。」【又】經名。大比丘三千威儀之略各。
