（名數）謂禪宗也。世尊三處傳心於迦葉：一靈山之拈花微笑，一於多子塔分半座，一於雙林樹下由棺中出足。禪宗象鑑曰：「世尊三處傳心者為禪旨，一代所說者為教門。故曰：禪是佛心，教是佛語。」然說拈花微笑事之大梵天經，其出處不分明，多子塔前分半座雙樹下出足事，諸經雖有其事而如五燈會元所「吾以正法眼藏密付於汝。」曾無之，但如是禪家公案因緣，常底之事，取其意可也。
