指不動明王之本誓。乃謂斷絕三界九地之惑障，完成十地之佛果。由於不動明王之利劍周圍有九火焰，故稱九徹。其利劍稱為九徹劍。

（術語）又謂之不動九徹。不動明王之利劍，周圍有九個火焰。表九徹也。九徹者，顯三界九地惑障盡滅，成十地滿足之佛也。又顯八葉九尊於一心之蓮臺，故云九徹。總之以不動之身而即知為行者之身，謂之三昧耶。或云九徹。
