1.(一)色光與心光。前者乃佛身所放之光，由眼可見；後者為佛智所發之光，以能破無明昏闇，故又稱智慧光。〔大智度論卷四十七、六要鈔卷三末〕
(二)常光與現起光。前者乃常備於佛身，凡聖共睹之光；後者為佛隨機應緣，以神力特放之光。〔阿彌陀經義疏（元照）〕
(三)魔光與佛光。前者為使人心恍惚躁動者；後者則使人心清淨澄明。〔寶王論〕
