菩薩十住位之第九。

法王子住  The ninth of the "ten abidings" 十住 in the 52 stage path of the bodhisattva. The "abiding of the dharma-prince." The stage of producing wisdom in accordance with the Buddha's teaching, and being assured of becoming a Buddha in the future.

謂自發心至生貴，名入聖胎；自方便具足至童真，名長養聖胎；至此長養功成，名出聖胎。既出胎已，則為佛之真子，而繼紹佛種也。經云：形成出胎，親為佛子，名法王子住。
