：
佛之異名。觀經疏玄義分則以之為阿彌陀佛之異稱。其義有二：(一)指能化益之人，如阿彌陀佛是極樂世界之能化。(二)人與仁同音，假借而相通，能仁乃釋迦之譯語；佛憐愍眾生無不仁慈，故轉而以能人為諸佛之通號。
